You’re right, Mitch: women’s health care in Texas is freakin’ tragic and horrifying.

It reminds me of something when I was in the Navy and stationed at Keflavik. We operated R&R flights to a U.S. military base outside Incirlik, Turkey, among other others in the U. K., Spain, and Italy. (Our pilots needed the flight time; our sailors could use some time away from Iceland.) Our people were told to not trust Turkish medical facilities. If they had a medical emergency, let us know, and we’d medevac them. Nowadays, I can imagine foreign women visiting Texas for business or pleasure might be told the same thing.
