We’re fortunate in Michigan, in that Ottawa and similar MAGA counties - Midland, Macomb, etc. - are soiling just their nests, not everyone else’s. Grounded, common-sense Democrats have the governor, attorney general, and secretary of state jobs, and majorities in the legislature. Good thing. Ottawa County, for instance, is doing book-banning with a twist: if ya can’t ban the books, ban the library. When MAGAs couldn’t force the Patmos Library board to get rid of some books, they voted to end the millage which funds the library. They believe that what kids don’t know won’t hurt them.
