This is such a helpful article Deb. But after decades of trying to control my weight, I'm still 30 pounds heavier than I was when I got out of the Navy long ago. Maybe I should cut to the chase: estimate the weight of my limbs, sub-limbs, and organs, then amputate as many non-essential ones as it takes to get down to my target weight.
