This is a fine piece of writing, Ivanova. Give yourself a solemn "Well Done."
As an aside, I've been recalling what I knew about Greenland back when I was in the U. S. Navy at Naval Air Station Keflavik, Iceland (January 1975 -June 1976). I didn't know much, except this. Keflavik was a remote and undesirable duty station. Yet Keflavik was considered a "rest & relaxation" getaway for the Air Force people at Thule Air Base on the upper-west coast of Greenland. I guess it was because, though we were a no-frills base, we had five bars (three for enlisted men, two for officers). That was enough to make us a desirable destination for airmen who needed a break from being in Greenland.
Trump Says he wants Greenland for its mineral wealth and access to the Northwest Passage. His MAGA minions have also talked about living there. Given that Greenland was so barren, Keflavik was an R&R destination, the MAGA fanatics should be careful what they wish for. They might just get it.
