Thank you RC. You're right: it can be unsettling, knowing your county is run by people who are a pickle short of a full jar. I live on the Leelanau peninsula, a three-hour drive north of Ottawa. We're a purple county. That said, we have our share of oddballs. For instance, the nice couple down the street are QAnoners. We're civil towards each other. Indeed, they helped me dig out after a heavy snowstorm. I just hope I don't see them in cammo and with AR-15s one of these days, after Marjorie Taylor Greene calls on red states to secede.
