Yeah, this piece is silly. But it was triggered by an understandable desire by many Michiganders to find a way to nip election-denial lawsuits in the bud. The last one resulting from the 2020 election was dismissed by our Supreme Court only two months ago. A couple for the 2022 election have been filed. The courts don’t just bend over backwards to allow them “due process”; they bend over forwards, too. As a result, intelligence tests and forensic rectal audits are among the more rational methods being discussed to restrain them.
