Thank you AT. I’ve pondered that idea. Trouble is, a regular topic among us gammers and gaffers at Dick’s Pour House is that we reminisce too much. There’s evidence to support that: we say it during breaks between reminiscing.

The question is, would anyone younger than us be interested in hearing about, say, the games we played with the Soviets in the North Atlantic. Especially those involving old technology like our depth charges - which amounted to fishing in a pond with nuclear sticks of dynamite. Those old cans were stone knives and bearskins compared to today’s self-guided “smart” torpedoes. People might consider them no more interesting to read about.

I’ll give your suggestion more thought, next time I’m nursing three fingers of Old Tub on my front porch. That’s when I do my best thinking. That is, if I can keep from drifting off and taking a nap.
