Thank you Agnes. American politics can indeed be funny. It brings out odd and silly behaviors which are uniquely American. True, the British, Chinese, French, Koreans, Egyptians, Poles, Brazilians, and others have their quirks. But American politics is bizarre in its own way. I just hope that, if peoples around the world are influenced by American culture, they're smart enough to avoid being influenced by American politics. Like they've avoided being influenced by fetish felt by too many Americans for guns.
