People I know with secret fears, disappointments, and the like - and are willing to mention them - consider them a burden, a drag on their lives, and wish they could shed and forget them. You, on the other hand, want to hold onto them until you can - if I read you correctly - look them in the eye, consider them, then process them appropriately. Again, that’s remarkable.
