Retired teachers I know anticipate the day will come when parents can paddle teachers. They hope schools will be Second Amendment Sanctuaries by then. That way, if a parent whips out a paddle, a teacher can whip out a gun. The teachers call it "The Chicago Way" for dealing with parent/teacher disagreements.
