MIFN, MIFN, MIFN. There you go again: being absolutely right. I said the same things you just wrote when I was helping Dad transition to assisted living. Only I inserted a bunch of the words I'd learned in the Navy.

As for patience, yeah, you could say I was patient with my Dad. But I'll let you in on something only a few people here on the Leelanau Peninsula know. I kept my cool by going to Dick's Pour House at the end of a trying day and self-medicating with Pabst Blue Ribbon.
