Kristie, this is a fascinating article. What especially caught my eye were your observations about how AI applications could inadvertently acquire biases. Those might be due to using datasets which have specific, narrow scopes. As a result, an AI application may think every problem pertains to nails, so the solution is always a hammer.

Ok, I may not have gotten what you were trying to say. But that’s a reflection on the reader, not the writer, who clearly knows her business.
