Jamey, this is mighty well written. It takes me back to when I was assigned to Keflavik Naval Station for eighteen months covering 1975 and half of '76. Cloud cover often obscured the Northern Lights displays. But there were plenty of nights when I'd bundle up, sit on the barracks stoop, lean back, and enjoy the show. Thanks for reminding me what a terrific one it was.
