Interesting timing, this story. Bridge Magazine, and I think the Traverse City Record-Eagle, recently posted stories about the significant increase in the Up North bear population. And as I recall, bears should be on the move about now: sows are telling the older male kids to go find their own feeding grounds. They’ll be pillaging back yard bird feeders any day now.
