I know: sounds absurd. But happened here on the Leelanau. Word got around that the owner of the only gas station in Maple City (actually a tiny, unincorporated village) is woke. Like the rest of Michigan’s Up North, our peninsula is very MAGA. So business plunged. The owner straightened things out by putting Trump signs at the station’s entrances. I don’t think he needed to. The locals would have given up the boycott after a week of driving 15 miles to gas up.
