Ha, Mel: "keep a male around for reproductive purposes"! That remark reminds me of something I learned as a teen. I worked on nearby farms to earn pocket money. The farmers who kept pigs kept most of 'em in swine houses. But they kept a boar or two in large grassy pens. Those guys never feared going under the butcher's knife, long as they were up to servicing the sows.

Oh, and I like "hairy apes." At Dick's Pour House, guys and gals are usually at separate tables. The gammers like to gossip; the gaffers like to bullshit. Much as I like gossip, I usually drop anchor at a gaffers table.
