Good evening William. Does your doctor have experience with prescribing bipolar meds to people your age and older? So she'll know if a person's age may change a med's effectiveness, and adjust dosages or substitute other drugs to compensate for that? I'm just guessing that age and related hormone or other kinds of body chemistry changes may affect how well the meds work. I don't know; perhaps age has no affect.
