Charles, your writing is fascinating for the things it reveals which I’d never imagined. Such as that people in your profession are so collaborative. The IT innovators in our area are notorious for not wanting to share how they come up with their coded bells and whistles. And regarding the unique nature of your creative challenges: of seeking ways “to use boring, inadequate gear so that this gear becomes a tool of communication and discovery, and NOT another metal/silicon/glass piece costing money and doing very little.” No doubt just a routine observation to you, but a gem of an insight to me!
