A funny thing regarding two Lutheran churches 11 miles north of me. One is associated with the extremely conservative Wisconsin synod. It’s congregation lives the scripture I referenced. The other, just six blocks away, is linked to a progressive synod. Its congregation - especially the women members - want nothing to do with the other church.
